Amazon → shipping labels

Connect via Amazon SP-API. Same carton rules before label buy.

What you paste where

Into Forbinde: LumaSwift API credentials, ship-from ZIP (if quoting). Ship carton L×W×H only if the storefront does not send dims (mainly Shopify).
Into LumaSwift: the webhook URL Forbinde shows after connect
Into the store: product weight and L×W×H when the platform supports them (preferred over a global ship carton)
You skip: SKU mapping / warehouse catalog (labels-only default)

Connect Amazon in Forbinde → Integrations
Complete SP-API / seller authorization for the marketplace account.

Connect LumaSwift + paste webhook URL
Paste credentials → Save & test → paste Forbinde’s webhook URL into LumaSwift.

Set ship carton + subscribe
Connections → Open → ship carton L×W×H. Start billing.

Store marks it paid — do not buy a storefront shipping label.
If weight + L×W×H are set: ~15 minute cancel window, then Forbinde buys the label.
If L×W×H is missing: held until you confirm carton or set ship carton on the connection.
Tracking writes back once LumaSwift reports the shipment (webhook from the steps above).

Weight and L×W×H live on products: Prefer product weight and dims in the store (Wix, Woo, eBay send catalog dims). Ship carton on Connections → Open is only a Shopify fallback — apps cannot read Shopify’s Package picker. Different boxes per product → put dims on each product, or confirm packing on that order. Never guess dims. Missing dims hold the order; they are not a setup checkbox.
What “Held” means: (1) Cancel window — weight and dims are ready; Forbinde waits ~15 minutes, then buys the label automatically. (2) Missing dims — add L×W×H on the product, confirm packing on the order, or (Shopify fallback) set ship carton on the connection. Held is not a failed install.
No SKU mapping for labels: Labels-only (the default) does not need warehouse catalog import or SKU mapping. Catalog / Inventory are only for optional WMS pick/pack.
